Built for Businesses (GSTIN Optional)

Wauto AI is a business-to-business (B2B) SaaS platform primarily sold to businesses operating in India. Registered businesses may optionally provide a valid 15-character GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) at sign-up for B2B invoicing and verification, but it is not required — small businesses, freelancers, and pre-GST-registration entrepreneurs are welcome to use the service without one.

Employees and agents of an account may be added as sub-accounts (Team Members) under the primary owner's account. These sub-accounts inherit the relationship of the owner; they are not independent consumer accounts.

By signing up, you confirm that any GSTIN you provide is owned and operated by you (or your authorised organisation) and that you are using Wauto AI for legitimate customer-engagement workflows in compliance with WhatsApp's and Meta's commerce + business policies.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Wauto AI. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us at info@wauto.ai.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering at the Website, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when participating in activities on the Website or otherwise contacting us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our Website for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

4. WhatsApp Data Handling

As a WhatsApp Automation provider, we process messages and data through official WhatsApp Business APIs. We do not store the content of your messages beyond what is necessary for the provided service functionality (e.g., chat history for your dashboard). All data is encrypted and handled according to Meta's Business Provider policies.

5. AI Processing & Third-Party Sharing

What this section covers: Wauto AI uses several third-party AI services to power automatic chat replies and AI voice calls. This section lists every provider we share data with, exactly what data goes to each provider, and how you can control or revoke this at any time.

5a. Chat AI — providers that receive WhatsApp message text

When AI Auto-Reply is enabled on your account, the text of incoming customer messages and your knowledge base are sent to one of the following providers depending on your plan configuration:

OpenAI, L.L.C.api.openai.com — text generation for AI chat replies.
API data usage policy — data submitted to the API is not used to train OpenAI's models.

Groq, Inc.api.groq.com — fast inference for AI chat replies.
Privacy policy — data is not used to train models.

Anthropic PBCapi.anthropic.com — advanced AI reasoning for chat replies.
Privacy policy — API inputs/outputs are not used to train models by default.

5b. Voice AI pipeline — providers used during AI voice calls

When AI Voice Calling is enabled, a separate pipeline handles live audio. The providers below each receive a specific portion of the call data:

Deepgram, Inc.api.deepgram.com — real-time voice-to-text transcription (speech recognition).
Data sent: live audio stream from the caller.
Privacy policy — audio is not retained after transcription.

Sarvam AIapi.sarvam.ai — Hindi and Indian regional language speech & text processing.
Data sent: caller speech transcript or audio for Hindi/regional language conversations.
Privacy policy.

Smallest AIapi.smallest.ai — text-to-speech synthesis (AI bot's voice during calls).
Data sent: the AI-generated reply text to be spoken to the caller. No caller audio is sent.
Privacy policy.

5c. What data is shared with chat AI providers (5a)

  • The text of incoming customer WhatsApp messages on conversations configured for AI auto-reply.
  • A short rolling summary of recent conversation turns so the AI can maintain context.
  • Your knowledge base — FAQ entries, product details, and bot prompt that you upload to your account.

5d. What is NOT shared with any AI provider

  • Customer phone numbers, names, or any contact-identifying details.
  • Photos, videos, document attachments.
  • Data from conversations outside the active AI-auto-reply scope.

No provider trains on your data. All six providers above process data only to produce an immediate response and do not retain or use it to train their models.

5e. How to control AI data processing

AI Auto-Reply and AI Voice Calling both require your explicit consent before activation. You may revoke consent at any time:

  • Mobile app: a consent disclosure dialog appears on first launch. The toggle is available at any time under Profile → Privacy & AI.
  • Web dashboard: the same toggle is under Settings → AI Bot.

Disabling AI Auto-Reply immediately stops all further processing by chat AI providers (5a). Disabling AI Voice Calling stops audio from being sent to voice pipeline providers (5b). You can continue to reply to customers manually at any time.

5f. Other third parties (functional necessity, not AI)

  • Meta / WhatsApp — sending and receiving messages over the WhatsApp Business API.
  • Firebase / Google — push notifications, crash reporting, remote configuration. No customer message content is sent.
  • Payment processors (Razorpay, Cashfree) — subscription purchases on our website only. No customer message content is sent.

6. Your Privacy Rights

In some regions (like the EEA and UK), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability.
